Super Mario Sunshine maybe?

Edit: Sorry about caps just realized as I copy pasted the title.

Don't think it'll be a Mario game, there's plenty of those. A Zelda remake is possible, but I guess it's neither. Don't know if it'll be a GC remake, they could take N64 titles and polish them up. Still hoping for a Metroid game, but I guess a remake of Metroid II (would be nice on 3DS) is not going to happen.

The best remaster would be Xenoblade Chronicles, but with Xenoblade Chronicles X also coming out in 2015, it seems very unlikely.

It would be cool to see the Gamecube F-Zero remade just to see how it does on the Wii U. I would like to see Sunshine but we don't need a Mario overload, and with the new Zelda coming next year I don't think we'll see another remake. I would rather not see something from the Wii era since it hasn't been long enough (for me).

I think the rumour is specific to the Wii U, as the source goes on to say Nintendo has a big game for every month of the year in 2015.

Yeah, this is the most obvious one. It would be welcome, too.

I'd love to see something like this fake trailer from 2 years ago:

Nintendo needs to find a good artistic style for any reboot of Majora's Mask. I really got back into playing this game last year and finally beat it. The analysis that can be put into the game's symbolism and storyline are incredible considering it's extremely short development time. I really hope that Nintendo doesn't mess it up with it's modern day obsession with hand holding and babying of of their audience.

An HD remake of a game that the Wii U is already compatible with seems unlikely, but if they rerelease Mario Galaxy, you can bet I'll be in line to buy it and 100% it yet again. What a delight of a game.

A better idea might be to rerelease Galaxy 1 and 2 in a single HD combo pack, but I'm not sure that will happen either.

I would also say Sunshine is unlikely because it relies heavily on analog triggers that the GameCube controller had, and none of the controllers supported by the Wii U except the original classic controller have those. Yes, they're releasing an adapter for GameCube controllers with Smash Bros, but it would be unwise to release a game that requires the use of a controller that is sold separately from the console. I suppose you could include a slider on the touch screen that dictates the power of the FLUDD's blast, but that seems suboptimal.

Anyway, as has been said, Majora's Mask is the most likely candidate, and that's fine with me.

This is exactly my prediction.
These games managed to look good in non-HD, just think of how they would be in HD.
