Here is November's open nominations thread. Every game that has ever participated in one of our "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Project events will be represented in the #BGE2020 Project. Of course, there are many other games that didn't make the cut, whether because of bad timing or bad memories. Remedy that here.
Here is a list of every game that has ever been nominated for the "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Project:
#BGE2020 Master List
Please double-check that list (find/search) for the title you're thinking of nominating, and if it's not there, then name it in this thread. It'll get seeded into the round robin draws.
Nominate as many as you want, but please check the main list first to save our poor admins some time.

Line Rider (PC/flash game)
Incredibly simple game that I played for years as a kid since it was free. One of the first games I played that allowed for user created content, in fact it only worked with user created content.

Oh, great choice! That's a good deep cut I never would've thought of.

Pikmin 3 deluxe (Switch)
I'm going to bundle that in with the existing entry for Pikmin 3, because as far as I understand, all of the enhancements were also available as DLC for the original. Close enough, anyway!

There's a new side mission for the switch (unavailable for Wii U users) and the game plays differently since there's no gamepad.

Here's a list of the new features in Pikmin 3 Deluxe:
-Co-Op Campaign
-Difficulty Modes
-QoL Improvements
-Updates to the textures
-An Entire New Mode (Side Stories)
-The return of the Piklopedia with a total of 275 entries
-New Achievement System
I personally feel like it's unfair to group the games together but it is your competition.

How is it unfair? It's not an issue of fairness, just accuracy and concision. It's not like fewer people will vote for it. Do you mean you think it's unfair because Pikmin 3 should have multiple entries in the tourney? That's not really the rationale behind why we break up or combine games.
In the list above, only the new mode (side stories) makes it sound like this would be considered a different game. Co-op is a change to the people playing the same game. Difficulty is the same game but harder/easier. QoL and textures aren't important, the 'pedia is a meta/menu feature, and achievements aren't really a game feature.
It would need to have new levels or new/different gameplay to maybe be considered, and even then, we typically combine games with their expansions for example.
EDIT: Not trying to have an argument here, just trying to adhere to some semblance of scattershot guidelines for coherence's sake. But either way we fall on this, "unfair" isn't the accurate way to describe this.

Probably shouldn't have used the term unfair. Looking at the master list I do see a lot of ports being linked together. I think I saw Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS and just assumed everything was like that.

It does have this though.
From looking at the master list though it does seem fair to link them together then.
Side note is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe nominated? I also see Mario Kart 8 Wii U mentioned in the master list. Probably worth tagging on Deluxe/Switch to Mario Kart 8 Wii U if it hasn't been done yet.

I'm fine with lumping Pikmin 3 and Deluxe together. I would say differently if the original pikmin had some glaring issues that the port fixed.
It has new missions but they reuse the same environment, some new story to it. They made a fair amount of tweeks but I would keep em together.
Most of the split entries we have are from the result of compiling older BGE's anyways.
