Two clears! Now that I'm blogging about each clear, I build up backlogs of these faster.
Judgment is pretty great. I think it had a really solid story (maybe the best RGG story yet), and the combat is as good as ever. If this is RGG's new action series, that's just fine with me.
Virtua Fighter 2 is good! But everyone knows that. I had fun running through it with my new, officially licensed wireless Saturn controller by Retro-Bit. It's a nice little repro. It's also USB! Looking forward to playing more games with it.

After playing paper mario ttyd I had a hankering to play the next game in the series again, especially with how different it is.
It still has the rpg-like story of ttyd, but lacks a bit of the depth ttyd had in its battle and badge system. The art style while deliberate in its style, comes off more as cheap than interesting.
Overall still an enjoyable game, but a little more forgettable.
RE3 was a good game that continues off the bones of RE2. It never hits the same highs, but I appreciated that it was a shorter experience. Also comparatively it has a story that makes sense, and I really enjoyed Jill and Carlos.

Like Clay this has also been a surprisingly productive weekend (+monday) for me beating games.
Finished the two DLC expansions for Control. I enjoyed the Alan Wake stuff a good amount, but it's all mostly a further tease for the future. Still, enjoyed it. Hopefully their next game has a little more of a conclusion to it since we've been tettering on the Alan Wake cliffhanger for over 10 years now!

ABZU: I didn't love it but didn't hate it. I don't think I could recommend buying it to anyone however it was an interesting experience.
Dragon Ball Origins: I think I bought this game like 10+ years ago and played it a few times but never bothered to finish it. I did enjoy it however I really hate how they don't show what time you need for S rank and how many extra levels they have that aren't part of the story and is just extra stuff that's optional. I'd much rather have been forced to play every level because after I finished the game I didn't have much motivation to go back and play the newly unlocked levels especially since I think it would be a difficult :C: since I only got 1-2 S ranks on my first playthrough and I'm not a huge fan of finish level fast type of challenges. Otherwise it reminded me of the Zelda DS games which I loved.

6/3 - Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty (PSN [PS3])
This was an interesting little game to go back to. It seems almost like a PSN proof-of-concept. It's quite a brief episode that seems like a teaser for A Crack in Time as much as anything. It's fine, though!
Working through A Crack in Time right now, as it happens. Hoping to beat tonight so I can move on to Into the Nexus and beat that before Rift Apart comes out!
