Top 2048 — Week 14 — Poll 31

Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round!

The previous micro-round was solely to put the lowest-ranked games against each other and weed out enough games to come up with a nice even 2048 for bracketing purposes. And here we are.

This is the top 2048!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Half of these games will advance to the Top 1024, and the other half will be demoted to the losers' bracket, where they'll fight for survival and a chance at redemption.

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances. Check back every week, because with the stakes this high, you're not going to want to miss a vote!

Warsong is one of the great tactics games of the 16-bit generation, up there with Shining Force and Ogre Battle. The Warsong soundtrack almost single-handedly sold the Genesis's vaunted sound chip superiority over the SNES.

I agree on Warsong. I bought it on a whim one day never having heard of it (and funds were more scarce for young Sharecrow), and I just loved it. Played the heck out of it.

OTOH, Pikuniku (which I've never played and know nothing else about) has this banger:

This would work well as Warsong battle music.
