Another big RPG finished up. Played this one on and off since 2014 when it came out, got more into it during the summer and finally finished it up now. It has its flaws, most notably a story that does nothing but get in your way until the final chapter and a half. But it is charming and it manages to make you want to sort your way through the loads of quests it gives you in order to become better and better. I also think it's kind of neat that the story ended without any sort of final boss or anything. Considering the story seems to just be a set up to what is a much larger game, I think it works. Not sure how much more I will play it as I'm already 60 hours in, but we'll see.

This might just be my last game in 2015, we'll see how the next couple days go!

And that's it for 2015. Just finished Yoshi today which I found to be very enjoyable, inventive right up until the end. I'll need to go back to collect all the hidden goods.

So the grand total for 2015 is 23 beaten and 3 completed. In 2014 I also beat 23 games but had completed 5 games. Surprisingly close results considering I had much less time and spent a lot more time on huge games like Monster Hunter, Xenoblade and Fantasy Life. Pretty happy with my 2015 progress since I managed to knock a few 2014 stragglers off the list like Captain Toad, Fantasy Life and Pokemon. I also completed most games that I started in 2015, though it probably helped that I didn't buy as many games in 2015. My two regrets are not finishing Codename STEAM and Donkey Kong 64. DK 64 I can forgive though as I stopped because my niece accidentally deleted my save file and I just couldn't go back after that.

Ended the drought before the end of 2015. Hotline Miami was fuckin great. Killer licensed soundtrack, and it's playable in Spanish, which is always a plus.

Halo 4, like all the ones I've spoken of before it, was fine. Probably the most mechanically sound of the entries I've played, but it's still nothing outstanding. Still, I'm glad to be caught up on the series, since I now own Halo 5. Hopefully it's a reasonably decent reason to own an Xbone, which has been searching for such a game since launch.
