What a game! Having been introduced to Marth and Fire Emblem, like so many, by way of Super Smash Bros. Melee, I've been meaning to get around to playing both this series and the title from which he originates for some time. Although I owned Fire Emblem (GBA) when I was younger, its tactics gameplay was too much for my much younger self, so only 30 or so minutes of that game was all I could claim to have played of the series. So, this is truly my first real exposure to the series, and I was very pleased with it. I understand it's actually one of the worse Fire Emblem games, which is something I couldn't really be happier to hear, considering how much I enjoyed this game. Knowing it will only get better is a nice place to be.

Amusingly, I totally cheesed the final, climactic mission of the game. I won't go into any detail to anyone that might be concerned with spoilers, but suffice it to say I finished it in a number of turns that only barely qualifies as plural. I made an extra save, though, in case I ever decide to go back and try the mission "for real."

Also, tacked on the platinum for Dancing All Night between the time I beat it and the time I beat Shadow Dragon. For someone who complains about not having enough free time, I sure do ostensibly make a lot of time for games...

What a weird story. Such a fun game apart from the annoying Platforming at the end. Really glad I decided to give it a try.

First time beating the first Uncharted. It looked pretty good on PS4, there were times where I couldn't believe how good it looked - which makes me really want to see what Uncharted 4 looks like.

Overall I enjoyed it. The story is the strongest part of the game, and unfortunately it starts strong and dies off around the middle of the game. At that point it becomes "shoot all the bad guys to win" which got a little tiresome. The mechanics work well but the combat is a little underwhelming (I have played Uncharted 2). Near the end the story picked up again and the game got its pacing back. I'd like to see a little more exploration/puzzle solving and a little less "hide n' shoot" action.
