This one's interesting to me. Since I've been keeping track here and VCF, I've beaten 24, 41, and 34 games each year. I don't even record it in the game clear threads or add to my count if I beat a game I'd previously cleared. Is 10 ambitious or comfortable for you? I know you're deeply entrenched in the real world at this point in your life, and perhaps I can't empathize with that very well, but 10 just seems awfully easy.

Last year I beat my resolution of 12 by 19, for 31 new beats out of 58 total beats on the year. So yes, it's mostly easy/comfortable, but I also anticipate having less time to beat new games this year for a couple reasons. We'll see!

Haven't tried this before, so I'll set some easy goals for myself:
  1. Beat 2 Zelda games I've never beaten before
    1. Currently working on Skyward Sword
    2. ??
  2. Beat a 1st party game on Wii U
  3. Beat a 3rd party game on Wii U
  4. Beat an indie game on Wii U
  5. Beat a game downloaded from Mac AppStore
  6. Beat a game on Steam
  7. Beat a game downloaded from GOG
  8. Spend at least an average of 5 hours on 3DS gaming per month (12x5=60 hours at years end)
    0 hours spend so far
  9. Spend at least half my Wii U time on other games than MK8 and Smash
Easy so far as I've only played Cpt. Toad this month
  10. Spend less money on games than in 2014 (games & DLC alone, so hardware is excluded)
    See game spending thread

Here are some starters. I may add more.

1. Finish in top 16 of a local Project M or Smash 4 tournament. Or get out of pools in Tipped Off 11. Progress: Unfinished

2. Make another game. Progress: Unfinished

3. Spend <$1000 on games. Progress: See spending thread.

4. Beat all of the retail Xbox One games I bought in 2014. Progress: Unfinished.

Play a greater variety of games.
Build a virtual reality experience in Unreal Engine 4.

The second one is waiting on a new computer. Soon.
