I don't know if I would call Mega Man Legends 2 an RPG. It's more like a third person shooter.

Amazing game by the way. The only thing that sucks hard about it are underwater levels, one of which is optional.
But you "play" the "role" of Mega Man's Walnuts so it's totally a Mega Man RPG. Just what everyone dreamed of!

This is the PS1's Majora's Mask.

RPG is such a laughably awful genre description. If it wasn't so widespread to the point of being inevitable, I would never use it. I do remember those days when people called Ocarina of Time an RPG.

The only aspect of Mega Man Legends 2 which I would consider remotely "RPG" like is that you get money from busting things up and you can spend the money on weapons or armor upgrades, making your character stronger. At best you could say that it's an inclusion of "RPG elements" into the game, but that aspect is apparent in all kinds of games ranging from Grand Theft Auto to Shovel Knight.

I'm sorry, I was making a snarky joke. :(

Er...maybe the tone of my post was off? I knew you were joking on that based off the whole Mega Man Walnuts thing (I remember people calling him that all the time in TvC) and the ridiculous assertion in general. In your original post where you just said it was an RPG, I wasn't sure if that was serious or not. The follow up reply was pretty obvious though. That's why I mentioned OOT as well.

I just felt like commenting a bit more on the subject, but I probably said way too much. Legends 2 is actually one of my favorite games of all time. However, I don't think I'll buy it on PSN. I've played through MML, Misadventures of Tron Bonne and MML2 each at least three or four times. I've pretty much done all I would ever want to do in all three games. Somebody call me when MML3 is revived or Inafune manages to successfully develop Red Ash without wasting 300 trillion Chinese yuan of his publisher's money.

No worries, my :( was a joke as well, mainly because I like how utterly harrowed that particular frownie looks! Startlingly, I haven't played any of the Legends games, despite having been an active PS1 gamer at the time and being a Mega Man fan to boot. I think I might have been a platforming purist at the time? I suppose this is as good a time as any to hop on... well, after Dark Souls.

I think the Inafune reviving anything ship has sailed, unfortunately.

Yeah he blew it hard. Whatever credibility he had is pretty much gone and all the hype behind his efforts is done.

There's still some excitement for that Bloodstained "Igavania" game though.

There's a pretty good flash sale right now. I'm tempted by several of these...

I’ve been waiting for the sun to come up. Waiting for the showers to stop. Waiting for the penny to drop. One time. And I’ve been standing in a cloud of plans. Standing on the shifting sands. Hoping for an open hand. One time.

Just noticed there's a flash sale going on, notable games (to me) are Terraria, Don`t Starve, Nidhogg, and Rogue Legacy. All under $5, I picked up Rogue Legacy.

Ratchet and Clank is on sale in Australia (So I asume EU as well) It's $30.95 ($52.95 normally) Australian.

I just got PSN Plus.

Coupe questions.

If I don't download NBA 2K16 can I download it after the sale? Also if I delete a game I got for free in PSN Plus can I reinstall it later?

You need to select to 'buy' it at least once while it is free. No need to install it, you can do that afterwards as long a you stay in PS+ (if your subscription expires, so will the free games)
