After taking a few weeks to digest, we've settled on our favourite games of 2021!

Fun fact: Hades is the first game to be selected as one of our Neon Notables twice! Kiwi chose it in 2020, and I wrote about it in 2021 after its PS5 release.

Special thanks to Clay for choosing a game from 2020, and to Kreegs for choosing a game he cheerfully admits isn't even the best he played in 2021.

In 2021 I've been playing the same games as in 2020 mostly. There were some new games I've started playing but haven't gone back to.
Metroid Dread could have been my favorit game for 2021 if I played it more, but it will probably be my favorit for 2022.

It was all about Persistence for me. I played some other pretty good games but nothing like that.
