Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 1024!
Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools, and there are no stragglers here! Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point.
Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!
HOW TO VOTE
This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances.

Shake It is a fine, pretty game, but No More Heroes was Suda51's best channeling of his weirdness into an actually-good game.

I agree with both clauses of this sentiment. Shake It is fine in the way that all WarioWare games are fine and entertaining, but it was far from the finest and entertainingest of the games in the series. I would go so far as to say NMH is a great action game in its own right, but on top of that it's also the pinnacle of Suda's output.

Not sure if you're confusing
Wario Land: Shake It! (platformer) with
WarioWare: Smooth Moves (microgames) or just made a typo because the sentiment you've attached to the series could pretty reasonably apply to either lol.
(Although I'd say the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wario Lands are all actually quite good)

Oh, yeah, brain-typo'd it, but that's pretty much exactly my point. I think the previous Wario Land games are almost all better than or around the same as Shake It, which is to say, a bit worse than Mario's games.
