Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 1024!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools, and there are no stragglers here! Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances.

There was no reason for a Mario and Rabbids crossover to be as good as it was.

I hate bioshock.

Played it and probably was in the 2nd or 3rd major big area. Got pretty lost then died at some big boss thing and realised there's no auto save or atleast not during the level so got shot back to the start and lost what felt like 2 hours of progress. Was just pissed and dropped the game never picking it up again. I'm sure the fact I wasn't enjoying it a ton either added to this aspect but the fact this happened on top of it just was the nail in the coffin.

Mario rabbids on the other hands is a masterpiece. My GOTY of 2017 I found it way more enjoyable than odyssey, botw etc. 2017 was a stacked year but somehow rabbids shone.

So easy pick for me

Mario vs Rabbids was a decentish strategy/Xcom clone. A bizarre crossover though, kind of forgettable now, at least it wasn't just another poor minigame collection 6.5/10

Bioshock was fantastic, with an excellent narrative and the game was dripping with atmosphere. Decent gunplay and light RPGish elements made for fun gameplay. The final boss was a bit of a letdown. 9/10

From the sounds of things, I enjoyed XCOM Rabbits even more than you did, and I still had to give the edge here to BioShock for having an actual strong and somewhat original narrative & setting. Pretty wild that it got relegated here. Maybe it'll do better in the lower bracket.
