I may try to boot God of War II to see if I want to vote for it. I liked the first one quite a bit. I may not get to it, though, but it's officially on my radar again.

If only this was Fire Emblem 7.

Fire Emblem 6 felt like Fire Emblem 7 except crappier in every way to me.

Pikmin and FF5A get my votes. Lot of fun with those games.

Unplayed or undeserving. C3 is actually a really good game, but there are better in the series for my tastes. I'll toss it the vote later in the week if it'll be meaningful for its standing, but there are big guns here that I'd likely vote for had I gotten to them.

God of War II is the best game in the series, and it edges Sly Cooper for my second vote. It's fun, challenging, the gameplay is well-polished, and I have some good memories with it. Sly is good, but there were some little gameplay annoyances that bugged me enough.

My primary vote goes to Final Fantasy V again here, mainly because of the weakness of the rest of the games in this poll, but a solid vote on its own thanks to the job system. Mario Kart 7 is certainly not among the best games in the series, and I haven't played this Fire Emblem, although I suspect it would be a strong contender for my vote if I had.

I couldn't be happier to see Pikmin doing so well. While its sequel is my favorite game in the series, there are compelling arguments for the first being "objectively" the best, if you will.

Contra III, meanwhile, gets my 2nd vote. I'm not crazy about it, but it's pretty good.

I think I might have voted for Ace Attorney, but I haven't played that particular entry. Oh well, sometimes that's the nature of the BGE.

I like a lot of these games, I really do. But Pikmin stands on the shoulders of giants. What a wonderful game, especially for its time.

I always thought of Pikmin as a kind of distinct game. Not much else really like it, or that it's building off of in my opinion.
