Game Resolutions for 2023

It may be a bit early for this, but, looking ahead to next year, do you have any gaming goals? I’ve thought of a couple that I have…am listing them below for future reference.

1. Beat the second loop in Castlevania

2. Platinum a Tales game (this is supportive of one of my decade resolutions as well)

3. Platinum any horror game

4. Beat at least twenty games for the first time

I completed my first resolution of the year already (ironically, a game whose central theme is resolution). So, since it seemed too easy, I added another similar resolution that will see me tackling a full-scale retail game that I have left to languish in my backlog.

2. Not done and may not happen this year. Would be Tales of Arise but that may be early next year due to my playing Star Ocean 2.

3. Not done but will be soon probably with Callisto Protocol.

4. Am up to 15 new games beaten. I think I’ll make it to 20 but it’ll be close.

5. Oh and the fifths one I added to platinum a shooter won’t happen.

With tonight's clear of Lyne on the Steam Deck, I'm now officially down to my last resolution of the year! I just have to get through this expansion, which is a few more hours of solo fetch questing, followed by I think 2-3 dungeons and/or bosses with fellow TONe guild member(s). Definitely achievable.

I got up to 19 new games beaten. So I only completed the second loop of Castlevania among my five goals ;b. I’ve got some resolutions for 2024 and will post about those soon

It's late, but I finally finished this expansion. On to the post-expansion patches and then I can work on my resolution for the next (i.e. this) year!
