Re: Round 5: Blixem's Bracket
My votes are going to Doom and Aria of Sorrow. I got at least as much enjoyment out of Doom as I did the sequel, and Aria of Sorrow is one of the best Castlevania games, and indeed one of the best of that famous genre. If you haven't played it yet and you enjoy action-exploRPGs, I strongly encourage you to check it out on the eShop.
I had to be hard on myself and resist the temptation to toss votes as Mega Man 3, Burnout Paradise, and Saints Row IV, too. Great games, but I think Mega Man 2 is better, Saints Row The Third is better, and, well... I'm sorry Burnout.

Backing Doom once again, and absolutely had to cast a vote for the original Ghosts n' Goblins. I'm sad that Ghouls n' Ghosts wasn't able to gain any traction, since I prefer the sequel a fair bit, but there is no denying the maddening glory of the original. Fucking bastard of a game.

DKC is the only game on this list I've played enough of and the only other game I've played is Doom (and possibly burnout im not sure which one I played) and it isn't really my genre of games I enjoy.

Re: Round 5: Blixem's Bracket
The original DKC is still a really good game today, and it really shaped Donkey Kong as a character for future games.

Doom, Mega Man 3, Donkey Kong Country, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow will advance to the next round.
