Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 512!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Life is Strange is one of those games I picked up almost because it seemed so different from what I might normally play. The story is pretty incredible, the game mechanics are interesting and it has a freaking incredible soundtrack, introducing me to a couple of artists (Foals, Syd Matters) I'd not heard of before.

Spoiler

It cemented itself fully in my mind as a great game probably when the first strains of Mogwai's "Kids Will Be Skeletons" hits as Max is riding the bus and looks out at the beached whales, in the alternate timeline where she saves Chloe's dad. The end does get a bit convoluted, and the serial murderer subplot gets in the way, I think, of the main storyline, but not enough to spoil the game.
