Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!

Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Saturday... or Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Curious what knocked out Divinity: Original Sin II into the bottom bracket. Also is there an easy way to find out these details in the future? I tried using the search function but found nothing.

Knowing that the brackets are posted in forward or reverse rank order, the easiest way is to take its approximate rank (since rank here changes each round, but not by much) into the previous round's ground of polls and dip in till you find it—that's how I've been doing it.

In the Top 1024 polls, Divinity II: Original Sin was ranked 758, where it was knocked down by 267-ranked Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back by a vote of 4 (including you) to 1 (me lol)

Yeah, it's a shame the search function doesn't also search in the poll data. That would be pretty useful. Especially if you could specify that it only look in the poll data. I wonder if there's a mod for that. I'll look.

On the bright side, even if you had flipped votes, it would have lost 3-2, so there was no way to save it besides campaigning.

Time to campaign for it now and hope it wins the loser brackets.
