I'd like to add to my list of grievances the fact that apparently not nearly enough people here have played Spec Ops: The Line.

I completely failed on that old New Year's resolution to play the Persona games, incidentally. Maybe someday.

I remember buying and playing it, think I have it on Steam. If I recall correctly, though, I never got very far before another multiplayer game came out. It seemed rather generic from what I remember.

Genuinely the one modern military shooter where that's the point. Let it play out sometime.

Has Monster Hunter 4 popped up yet? I started replaying it and remembered why it's so amazing.

I'm totally willing to give it another shot and finish it, but it's sitting in a backlog for now.

The death of F-Zero GX and Persona 3 has significantly deflated my enthusiasm for the entirety of BGE.

Obviously only temporarily, but those are both in my personal Top 10, so that's a real "ouch" moment. Oof.

There comes a point in every person's BGE journey where motivations change from hope and anticipation into bitterness and hatred. That point comes sooner for some and later for others, but it always comes. The final rounds are almost always characterized by elaborate vengeful machinations.
