Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!

Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Saturday... or Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

It was initially relegated by The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (which we just saw down here in the lower bracket last week) back in the Top 2048, but then it won its subsequent match-up in the lower bracket.

Terraria situation is exactly what double-elimination is for. Out in 2048 with a tough match-up, and now poised to still sneak into the top 512.

It'll have to fight it's way through the whole bottom bracket though which I assume means it won't reach the top brackets again ever (or at least until the final 2.

But by the same token, every game currently still in the top bracket except for the eventual winner will also spend some time in the lower bracket. Terraria may not battle all the way through every opponent in the lower bracket, but that may just be because it doesn't deserve to win 1st or 2nd place.

Atic Atac is a super cute game that I was exposed to by way of Rare Replay. Fun little haunted house game that I was compelled to beat with all three characters. No surprise it won't beat Terraria, but I highly recommend other folks try it. Maybe an October game idea?
