Suikoden II with a deservedly high seed, pretty happy with that!
Voted for S2 and P4 Golden. I'm not super happy with the added plot content in Golden, but the mechanical refinements improve a lot on the game.

Sticking to a single vote for Suikoden II, quite simply one of the finest games ever made.

I need to finish 1 so I can play that one of these days. And soon. After FFV....yes, after FFV...VictorViper wrote:Sticking to a single vote for Suikoden II, quite simply one of the finest games ever made.
I never thought I would feel this way, but now I know. Now I know. I never thought I would see things as I see them now, but now I know. I never thought I would hurt so bad, but now I know. Now I know.

Portal 2
The only thing wrong with this game is it drags out a little long everything else is pure perfection. Top 10 easily for me.

Hopefully a Persona game finally makes it through even a single round of elimination. That'd be great. Persona 4 Golden is one of my all time favorite games, and I'd love to see it go deep. It's an experience that must be played to be understood or appreciated, though, and to many (including myself), its premise is a hard sell. But do heed mine and other folks' praise for it: it's outstanding.
And I'll probably continue to vote for Castlevania until it's eliminated. It's up there with F-Zero X/GX and Persona 3 in that regard, both of which perished before Top 128. I hope to see Castlevania stay with us for quite some time.

Votin' for mods. Project M is a better Smash game than Sakurai would ever allow.

4 votes!
Suikoden 2. I'll admit it's a better game than the first, but the first is still my favourite. This is definitely up there though.
Portal 2. What a classic, clever and inventive puzzle game. Amazing in every regard.
Resident Evil 4. Bought it for 3 different consoles, each on their separate launch days. Gamecube, PS2 and then Wii. What a game. Seemingly came from nowhere. I played it sooo many times.
Persona 4: Golden. Magnificent. Worth the buying of a Vita alone. Loved every second of it. Will play it again in the near future.

Way to make me feel old :/Humphries90 wrote:Portal 2. What a classic
Classic to me is N64-PlayStation and older. Not a game that came out within the last 5 years.

Suikoden II.
I also voted for Portal 2, which is better than the original in some ways, and worse in others. It's mostly a more fully-realized game. Some people hold the length against it, but I think it worked well. It gave the game enough room to manoeuvre in twists and plot threads. The puzzles—the core of the game—are as brilliant and devious as ever.
Castlevania continues to get my support as a finely crafted action platformer with perfectly-scaling difficulty that allows players to actually learn from their mistakes and improve their skills as they progress. You have to be willing to stick with it and allow yourself to get better, but you'll eventually conquer those obstacles. It feels rewarding!
As much as I wanted to cast a vote for Persona, I haven't played enough of it for my vote to feel informed, and it wouldn't be fair to the other titles vying for a spot in the next round.
