Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 256!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

The Witcher 3 is literally in the running for one of the best games of all time. It would be an easy shoo-in for a Top 16 slot if anyone here had played it.

There are many gaming tendencies/biases on this board that lead some games to being underexposed to our little community, but this one surprises me (even though I'm also among those that have not played it).

This right here. That this is losing to A Boy and His Blob is insane. The Witcher III is one of the only open-world-style games whose side events and incidental quests feel real and meaningful, and the world and its inhabitants feel like the developers took a lot of time to consider how real people would live in that world. It does not feel at all like cookie cutter dolls x 10 wandering around or like miscellaneous, pointless fetch quests. The worst thing I can say about it is that if you do all the side content you're going to be over-leveled by the end.
