Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 256!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

This is a tough one for me. Had to go with Dead Space as it’s truly one of the best games I’ve ever played. Cuphead is fantastic but there’s nothing like being chased by the Hunter.

Dead Space is a great slice of creepy, sci-fi terror with innovative gameplay (e.g. don't aim for the head) and some really disturbing content. And as the first in the series, it's the entry least affected by EA's inevitable mass media dilution tendencies (the 3rd game tries to be a survival horror/pseudo-open world/romance subplot/cutscene driven/co-op friendly/heavy crafting elements hybrid that, despite selling something like 650k copies in its debut month in NA alone, still came up short relative to what EA needed it to sell, which to me says more about EA's corporate bloat than the success of the game).
