Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!

Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Saturday... or Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

FWIW, the original Dreamcast version is still alive in the upper bracket, so don't cry too hard for the GCN version.

This version was bumped down in a tie vs. the higher-seeded Super Mario 3D World on Wii U. (You and I both votes for Skies there... as we did here.)

I might be more surprised The 7th Saga seeded as high as 849th. I'm not sure it'd even rank in the top 200 SNES games, and it's certainly not influential.

I love 7th Saga for the weird and unusual things it did. but it is a major slog and its localization made it a much worse game. Skies of Arcadia's main flaws are slow combat and frequent encounters, and I'd give anyone some major side-eye if they were to vote for 7th Saga over it for those reasons...

In that case I'm glad the GCN version got knocked down. Really don't want the top bracket being flooded with both ports and the original versions.

Ideally, though, the original would have dropped since the GCN version is better.
