Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!

Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Saturday... or Sunday or Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

I’ve carried on about this at great length but I love DWVII. One of my all time favorites. One of the best gifts I’ve ever received.

DW7 / DQ7 feels great starting out, but it has a bit too much searching for puzzle pieces after the first few islands. I always end up losing momentum around the 30 hour mark if not earlier. Most recently on the 3DS remake I at least got a bit into the job system...
The slime on my work desk is staring angrily at me, but I've gotten much more enjoyment out of the chill sandbox that is Uncharted Waters: New Horizons. I should check out Sailing Era now that it's on Switch...

This was a really close one for me, but Dragon Warrior VII being middle of the pack in its series (and pretty slow and drawn out) vs. New Horizons being the peak of a very interesting and somewhat unique strategy genre give it the edge for me in this match-up.
