Not going to vote SMB isn't anything special in my eyes as there's plenty of better Mario games. Tetris is fun but I believe top 64 is about where I'd stop voting for it comes down. Also I've played an hour or so of chrono trigger and enjoyed it and believe it's the best game but haven't played it enough to vote for it.

Sorry Chrono Trigger, I do respect you and I know that many people worship you. I'm not one of them however.

Super Mario Bros. and Tetris. Both complete game changers.

Tetris never seemed very entertaining to me. This probably belongs in the objection thread but I sincerely just don't get it.

SMB is good because it has been improved upon so many times and in so many ways it belongs in a time capsule.

I went with Chrono Trigger only though I like it but don't love it: there are much better JRPG's- even ones contemporary to it. But it did do things few others did with neat multiple party member attacks (ahem ahem Shadow Hearts Covenant did it, too). It was also unique and had a good story: I'll play it again. Good times.
I never thought I would feel this way, but now I know. Now I know. I never thought I would see things as I see them now, but now I know. I never thought I would hurt so bad, but now I know. Now I know.

I had to vote for Valkyria, it being the best game of last gen.
After than, it was a toss up between Mario and chrono

I'll be really, really disappointed if the winner of the last BGE doesn't even make it into the Top 32 this year. Shame it got seeded against two highly influential and iconic games.

Tetris really needs to advance. Super Mario Bros., on the other hand, is an important game, but it has been utterly eclipsed by a game in its very own series: Super Mario Bros. 3 is the shining star of this series on NES, and it's already set to go deep in this competition. Let's let this relic enjoy its well-earned rest and move Chrono Trigger deeper into the competition.

Super Mario Bros. is fun, but if I'm looking for a good Mario game I have many, many better options.

I've changed my mind and I'm voting for chrono trigger the hour or so I've played of it was far better than SMB. I also thought it would get more votes considering it won last time but I hasn't.

This bracket is obnoxious to me because I highly love all of the games in here. When I first saw this bracket I was like, "Shit, I want to vote for all 4." I ended up giving VC my only vote because I reckoned (correctly) that it was facing really stiff competition here.

I voted for Chrono Trigger here. It's not my absolute favourite SNES RPG (there are too many great ones), but it's one of a select few greats. It's fun. The various eras are a great way of expanding the game's setting and making each place interesting. The characters are unique enough to make forming a party feel personal. And that music! Don't make me post "Schala's Theme" again.

I tossed a courtesy vote to Valkyria Chronicles. This is where the buck stops for that game, but I look forward to the PS4 version's eventual release.
