Another cakewalk bracket for Metroid Prime. Perks of being the overall #1 seed, I guess.

DKC2 won't vote for a number 2 game as I know DKC2 is going to struggle beating Zelda and Matroid and possibly even MK64

Well, I've only played an hour or so of Prime (I will get back to it).

DKC2 is fine, if a little overrated.

Mario Kart 64 was brilliant and probably my most played MK game overall, but it's also fairly weak in comparison to the series.

Link's Awakening is a good Zelda game, I guess.

Abstaining.

Perks of being in a Nintendo-only bracket, more like.

Mario Kart 64, no competition.
The only games that has more hours put in for multiplayer "in the sofa" fun for me and my friends is smash bros melee and Street fighter 4.

Interesting so replayablity is one of the most key things for you into a game being the BGE?

It's not a requirement, but it's a pretty important factor, especially with multiplayer games. Drinking some beers and yelling at each other over whatever game we're playing never gets old.

I guess it's more about the social interactions the game invites than the actual game itself.

Replayability is definitely a factor for me, for certain types of games (games whose value is derived from being replayed). It doesn't matter to me whether a long RPG is replayable, because the point of the game is to experience the world and the story. It doesn't matter whether a short puzzle game is replayable, because the point is finding the solutions to the puzzles. But a game like a racer or a fighting game or a competitive FPS is meant to be played over and over again. Those games should be enjoyable enough to warrant continued play, or they certainly get bonus points if they are.

Eh, I feel a Nintendofan-saturated community could make a Nintendo-only bracket go either way. It's when a Nintendo baby gets seeded against a bunch of games that the herd hasn't played that it's stompin' time.

As far as these brackets go, there's not much quality here. A sequel to a decent platformer, an under-the-radar 2D Zelda, and a turd-racing game. I don't even like Metroid Prime, but I would have expected it to win handily.
