Remote Play - coming to PC?

Sony seem to have confirmed that we'll soon/eventually be able to remote play our PS4 via PC. They haven't given specifics of when this will happen or how this will work.

This seems a bit strange since the point of Remote Play is to be able to play your home console while you're on the go, but I suppose it could also be handy if you can play from a computer somewhere else (a friend's house?) or play from your computer room when someone else is using the TV or something.

More news on this revealed on the PS Blog today. The PC Remote Play option won't actually be testable in the beta update that's rolling out tomorrow, but it sounds like it'll be in the live update when it launched. Exciting times. I'm still interested in seeing how it actually ends up working.

My friend just got a PS4 and not being able to remote play to PC is his biggest gripe about the system so far. He uses it on XBone a lot since it lets him play without taking over the TV constantly.
