Super Metroid is so good, and it will likely win this bracket. I'm going to give a sympathy vote for Pikmin though, because I really like it and other games like it.

Super Metroid is an easy vote for me here. Great game. Amazing atmosphere. How did they manage to pull off amazing atmosphere in a 16-bit game? They somehow did it. Creepy enemy aliens, subtle music, great shifting scenery. And the pace is wonderful as well. You really feel like you're finding your way through the game.

Wow, now this is probably the most difficult one yet. I haven't seen the votes but I might give a sympathy vote for Pikmin, the best trooper in the competition.

I think a bideo bame goal for me is gonna be beating Super Metroid (was halfway through when my wii died) and SOTN, then going to play guacamelee and finally axiom verge.

I love metroidvania even though I'm probably not qualified to say that given those games I haven't played.
