Abstaining from this one, though if I did vote it would be for Castlevania, very solid and challenging platformer that would later go on to spawn the far superior Metroidvania titles of the series.

So why abstain? :p Haven't played Final Fantasy?

Final Fantasy VI. I played Castlevania on the VC without any nostalgia, and it was fine, but not brilliant.

I'm going to have to sleep on this a few times...oh my...

Agreed.

I went with the JRPG, which has more to offer. Castlevania is pretty perfect, and, though I've only played FFVI a little, I know that if I could only have one game between these two my choice would be obvious.

Final Fantasy VI advances to the Round of 16.
