BOTTOM 512 — Week 7 — Poll 21

Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!

Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

This one is kind of tricky for me, because I give Quake II way more culture & influence points than the original Quake, plus the fact that New Horizons dropped at the right place at the right time and helped buoy a lot of people out of one of the worst global disasters of the century... at the end of the day, it's just Quake, and it's just Animal Crossing. Still hard to choose.

Agreed, New Horizons gave many people a cozy little zone of normalcy at a time when it was needed.

We still sometimes say "it's turnip day!" on Sunday, even though we've barely played it in the past year. It was my first Animal Crossing game, so I was mentally comparing it to Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, but it's both more and less than that.

Quake. No contest.

I really enjoyed AC especially due to the timing of its launch but there are better ACs out there. The online could still be way better, and it very quickly runs out of interesting things to do after a couple months.
