Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 128!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

Tough choice.
DQ4 has a really different formula, splitting the various characters into 4 "preliminary" chapters, but takes many hours to get going as a result. Taloon/Torneko's chapter is lots of fun, and although it's shallow on the shopkeeping side it is a really cool premise. Alena and Ragnar also have strong chapters.

Genesis Shadowrun is my preferred Shadowrun. It's an interesting sandbox with randomly-generated missions, has fun Matrix cyber-dungeons, and retains a strong Shadowrun feel. The core story I remember being weaker than the SNES one though, and the missions are only interesting for so long.
