Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 128!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

I’ll have to abstain here never having played one of these (FF Tactics). I might like it better than Doom…not sure…

It's like Final Fantasy 3 or 5 on a grid. I bet you would have a lot of fun with it. Put it on your to-be-played-in-the-future list, or hop on the Remake when it comes out in a couple years.

FFT is my favourite game of all time. I'll vote for it against anything... even Dark Souls. It takes the already-excellent job systems of previous FF games and blows them wide open, giving you tons of freedom to build your units, your whole party, and indeed your whole gameplay experience (want a hard challenge? what to be OP and steamroll everything? the power is in your hands). Plus the story and setting are interesting. Every fucking tactical RPG copies this multiple nations at war but the string are being pulled by a shadowy power setup now, and they all feel like knockoff cliches. FFT took TO to the next level.
