If you want to be convinced that video game design can go backwards in a decade's time, just compare Metroid Prime's level design with Doom's. It will be embarrassing if Metroid Prime wins this.

Interesting to see the support for Doom considering its low seed.

Also interesting that both Doom games made it to the top 16, both beating out the two Portal games.

While Doom 2 is superior to Doom 1, its competitor is rather weak this round.
