Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round Lower Bracket!

Each game in the lower bracket is still seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools! Every game in the lower bracket has already been defeated by another game in a 1-on-1 poll to get to this point. This is their chance to claw their way back into the main event... but the stakes are high. The games that lose in these polls are out of the tournament for good! The games that survive will face the next crop of upper bracket losers in the next round.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

I mentioned this in the previous round, but Myst is such an influential first-person puzzle game, not just on the development of that genre but for its impact and popularity of PC gaming as a whole.

Ms. Pac-Man is better than Pac-Man, but I can't exactly give it points for originality. It honed an already-good concept, but the advancement isn't so much that I'd even necessarily vote for it over Pac-Man. Myst gets my vote here.

I appreciate you sharing this opinion because I agree! I think this is one of those fun cases especially for something like BGE. I think Ms. Pac-Man is probably strictly the more entertaining single game if you can only have one, but head-to-head, it's hard to vote for it over Pac-Man for the originality aspect you mentioned. While I think I generally lean toward "which of these games in isolation is strictly more pleasant to consume" for my votes, that's the kind of situation where I'd probably take impact and originality into account.

But also many of my votes are in-the-moment whims, so who knows!
