The second 2015 "BEST GAME EVER!!!" Project Side-Event is the community vote for the 2014 Game of the Year.

By the time the nominations for the BGE!!! Project had been submitted, there were still great games being released in 2015. For that reason, we thought it would make more sense to focus on the Game of the Year for 2014 in this Side-Event. There were excellent games released at the end of the year, and for many people, 2015 was a year to catch up on them.

• There will be 3 rounds: 4 brackets of 7-8, followed by 2 brackets of 8, followed by 1 final bracket of 8.
• Brackets are seeded randomly.
• You will be able to vote for two games in each poll.
• The top 4 games from each bracket will advance.

Brackets will be open for one week.

Is Bravely Default not considered a 2014 game because it came out in 2012 in Japan?

2013 in Australia and Europe.

Yeah that will be one weakness of the BGE format for GotY.

We can use this thread to write-in other games we would consider contenders, though.
