Welcome to the #BGE2020 Elimination Round of 16!

Each game is seeded based on its performance in the two opening rounds of pools. Every game in the Upper Bracket has defeated multiple other games in 1-on-1 polls to get to this point. These are still the best of the best.

Polls are updated weekly, typically on Monday. Check back throughout the week to make sure you don't miss a vote!

HOW TO VOTE

This is easy. You only get one vote per poll. The game with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the higher seed advances, so don't get complacent!

World is the best 2d Mario game. (Excluding wonder as I haven't played it) Very easy pick.

Abstaining here. I find SMW to be overrated, and I don't know enough about this Final Fantasy to vote for it.

SMW is overrated IMO. The sixth Final Fantasy is among the best in its series. I think I like FFX more but just for nostalgia reasons. FF is really good as well but it’s no FFVI.

Agreed, easy vote for the best 2D Final Fantasy. And not because SMW is overrated, because I don't think it is—I think it's a great overall game. But FF is just on another level.
