Still playing AM2R. It's tougher than the original Metroid 2, but I managed to get most of the items so far. I think I'm somewhere at 30-40% in the game, but a lot of (hidden) areas have been added that can only be (re)visited at a later stage.

There was an update last monday where the invisible gravity suit glitch should be fixed (together with some other fixes). The update (v1.1) hasn't been pulled from the downloadsites (yet).

I haven't finished the game yet, on my way to get the icebeam and fight a non metroid boss. Already know I probably won't get 100% items, unless shinesparking can be done on shorter distances.

Made it to the faceoff with the Metroid Queen. Lost the battle on first try, haven't tried again. Will have to find another wine-client to try again, didn't get it to run under virtualbox.

Found another wine client to run the game. It even let me create an .app with the whole game in it (including wine). Now I only have to find where the savegames are stored or just start over.

Looks like v1.1 is the last version period. The developer got an DMCA notice in his personal mail.
