While stardew valley is an endless game, I've done what I consider enough to call the game "beat". I finished the community center, the story quests, upgraded all my weapons to max, leveled up all my skills to max, and I got a perfect 2 year evaluation. There's always more to do in this one, but I think I'm good now that I've put 55 hours in.

In preparation for odyssey I decided to give Mario 64 a go. Still a great game, controls aren't too bad. I'm surprised how simple the star missions are though, a lot of the stars were found the same as the previous ones just with a slightly different path. Nice to have this game fresh in my mind moving into odyssey.

Today I beat Undertale, and got the Platinum trophy to boot. I understand there are more endings to get, but not right now.

Today I beat Doki Doki Literature Club! It was OK. I feel like it's a bit overrated. I've heard nothing but effusive praise for the game, but it's not as form-shattering as it's made out to be. It employs some nice narrative techniques, but some of the visually jarring elements struck me as comedic, which certainly wasn't what the game was going for. Still, it did a nice job of setting itself up and building its small cast of characters.

Last night I also beat Picross S, completing all 150 normal mode puzzles without using any hints, clues, or help functionality. I'm 35 puzzles into Mega mode now.

Finished the main quest in Mario Odyssey last night. Fantastic game, ending was a little weird, but fun. Lots more to do in the post game!

I ended up beating quite a few games in October, surprisingly.
