I know we have some P&P RPG fans around these parts. Did anyone ever play Star Wars back in the day?

It's getting a 30th anniversary edition. Looks like a nice package. I like the fact that the books use all the old original art instead of trying to modernize the design.

I might, since there are some aspect of the Star Wars universe that make for really interesting mechanics in an RPG, in my opinion.
I also bought the universally panned Battletech RPG, so I can be persuaded easily...but not at the current suggested price.
If I will be able to find it at less than 30 EUR, I'm going to look into it (for reference, I got "A Time of War" for 17 EUR, when it usually goes for 45 EUR, and I plan to use it to build interesting mechwarriors for my Battletech games, just for flavor).
