And I started off the year with a fairly easy one however the last level was a little annoying. The goal is 26 beats and I don't really care about completes however I'll possibly complete 1-2 games in the process anyway.

Grabbed this when Kong alerted me that it was on sale for like $2 knowing only vaguely what it was. Now that I've beaten it, I can say it's among the best $2 I've ever spent. It's among the hardest games I've ever beaten, but it's graphically divine and controls so well it never feels like a chore. Glad to have seen this one through, as there was one difficulty spike so immense I wasn't sure I would. Everyone should give this game a try.

Child of Light had a very Ori and the blind forest feel to it but with Turn based RPG combat. I enjoyed it but the lack of platforming after getting the flying ability 20 minutes into the game was a little bit of a bummer for me.

I think this is the first PlayStation Plus freebie I've actually played (although a couple are on my to-do list). I quite liked it. It's a little troubling that the Telltale Engine still has as many technical issues as it does, but I was able to shrug them off and enjoy the plot. One thing I admire about this Batman interpretation is that it, to avoid spoiling too much, takes a lot of risks with established and classic characters. I like that decision, and it sticks the landing. Anyway, don't want to say much else about the plot (which is pretty much all there is to these "games") since I know at least Sharecrow plans on playing this, but suffice it to say I liked it.

Also, since PS+/XBL free games almost always are free in an attempt to get players to purchase another related item (DLC, sequel, etc), I wondered what the catch was with this one. Turns out it got a sequel I didn't even hear about! I'll be buying that once all the episodes are done, I think. Free advertising worked on this one, and I'm fine with that.

Additionally, since the Platinum is awarded just for finishing the game, I've now added my seventh Platinum Trophy!

I enjoyed this game I really did but by god is it a hot mess. No difficulty curve at all random levels are stupidly hard then the next level is a breeze. All my favorite levels were also very 2d platform like as I felt the 3 depth perception was non existent making some levels hard for the wrong reasons. Hopefully 2 and 3 fix this. However I'm glad they fixed the saving issue as I would have never ever beaten the original with the old saving system.

Beat the Arcade mode on Easy, and as far as I can tell, that's all this game has to offer in terms of single player, so I'll call this beaten. Super fun game that I'm looking forward to playing against an actual human. If any TONers are interested, let me know!

I finished the browser incremental game Universal Paperclips this morning. This one was neat because it actually had an arc and an ending.

This is the second year in a row that the first game I beat started with "Un" (last year's was Unravel). Fun fact. Trivium.
