Lumo - Cute puzzle platform that was fun. The lack of camera control really made the game frustrating though especially during the ice stages. Reminded me a lot of captain toad. Free if you have Xbox Game Pass totally worth playing.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition - Just wow. I knew this was a metroidvania, i came in unsure about it but this game is fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of it the combat felt great & the mechanic of 2 worlds is fascinating. If you have Xbox Game Pass download this game NOW!

Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash - It was atleast $4 worth of fun. Otherwise it's a hot mess. I somehow still enjoyed it but I couldn't play more than 2-3 levels at a time without wanting to die inside. The destination wheel is the dumbest mechanic ever. I worked out I spent about an hour of my playtime dealing with the stupid dumb wheel. Bosses sucked really badly especially the last boss.

Tomb Raider was great! Was really expecting a game more about story than gameplay, so It was nice to be wrong about that! I'll likely play the sequel pretty soon.

Ittle Dew was a fun distraction, decent Zelda clone. More fully featured that the original game. Price is a bit high, so I'd recommend this game when it's in the $10-15 range. The music was a standout to me, lots of good little tunes.

Mega Man 1 - Hard really hard. I played it on the Mega Man Legacy Collection which used save spot everywhere. I struggled a lot and it honestly didn't feel as fun as 2 was and no where near as fun as X.

DMC: Devil May Cry - This whole game was amazing I loved it. The story was interesting and the ending was great. The bosses were fun and it was a really great game for a game originally made in early Gen 5.

DMC: Devil May Cry: Vergil's Downfall DLC - What a waste of time. No fun bosses (basically no bosses at all) mostly repeated enemies and a character that just wasn't as fun to play as Dante. The cutscenes had boss fights in them basically. I really don't understand how this couldn't have just been summed up in a single cutscene.

Mega Man 1 is the worst game in the classic series by far, so that's no surprise. Put it behind you and move on to MM3 and beyond, which are all great!

(..okay, Mega Man 8 isn't very good, but the rest are!)

Blaster master was a great sequel. Expanded on the original very well. Definitely recommend for a quick metroidvania/adventure style game.

Beaten:
1/1 - Firewatch (PSN)
1/13 - Pony Island (PC)
1/15 - Injustice: Gods Among Us (PS4)
2/17 - Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (Switch)
2/26 - Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon (Xbone)
3/10 - No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise (PS3)
3/22 - Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn (PS4)

Got the itch to replay the original NMH for the first time since it came out after playing Travis Strikes Again, this time in HD and with trophies on the PS3. It's aged reasonably well, and while I was drawn to its edginess and violence when I was 14, there's something still very enjoyable about it to me still. Hopefully a Switch port of 1+2 is released at some point so folks that missed out on the series on Wii have a chance to check it out.

Meanwhile, Shaq-Fu was pretty bad. Mostly terrible humor and always awful combat really did not make for a good game. I'm sort of glad to have checked it off my list in terms of its place in gaming history, but I wouldn't recommend it to any normal person.

Completed:
None

Beat the adventure mode in Smash, took a whopping 26 hours! I think I'll slowly eat away at the mode to 100% it over the next year or so. I think I could eventually finish all the challenges in the game.
