Round Two of the “Best Mascot Racing Game” side-event includes the games that advanced from the first round as well as 4 games that got multiple nominations and were awarded byes directly into this round. There are 2 polls of 7 games each.

• The top 3 games in each poll will advance to the category finals.

Crash Team Racing is a great little racer. Underrated for some reason, maybe because they didn't make a new one almost every year. (It'll be interesting to see how well the new Nitro-Fueled does.)

Super Mario Kart is the best Mario Kart in this poll. Hail to the couch! Online Mario Kart is a travesty. This one had an actually good battle mode, too.

Also voting for Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing for the reasons I stated in the previous round (it brings elements of a challenging racing game in the traditional Sega arcade vein than as a gimmicky comical kart-fighter shenanigans racer) and LittleBigPlanet Karting for the major user-generated and community elements that take it beyond a simple track-memorizing game.

Beach Buggy Racing for the world! I played it as recently as yesterday.

LEGO Racers is super fun! I have it on the 64. I loved creating my kart!

Mario kart Wii needs to be far far far away from these polls. Not only is it the worst Mario kart it's one of the worst kart/racing games I've played.
It ruined battle mode, it ruined grand prix and Vs and it ruined the tracks by making them a mile wide. The graphics actually seemed worse than double dash and it bought in awful motion controls.

I really only have great memories of Mario Kart Wii! MK64 I don't find as enjoyable to come back to today. Soundtrack and voice clips are classic, but the actual karting doesn't feel great.

I have more affinity to Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing Transformed, so I don't think this one gets my vote.
