I often struggle with deciding which Galaxy is better, but I think Galaxy 2 is the stronger game despite Galaxy 1 being more ground breaking at the time. Galaxy 2 packed the game with content and had new ideas in every level. It lacked the bits of story I liked in Galaxy 1, but the gameplay reigns supreme.

I prefer 2 over 1 but it won't beat out 2.

Why only 1 vote when two advance?

To prevent people from picking both Galaxy games. Tie-breakers are decision time.

I prefer Galaxy 1 to the sequel. I actually think all the added gameplay detracts from the first game's concentrated excellence. Voting for Galaga, though.

Doesn't that cause a bigger chance of another tiebreak?

Statistically, about even.

What happens if there's a tie for 2nd place? Does just 1st go through or do all 3 go through?
