Abstaining here....haven’t properly met most of these and didn’t develop a nemesis sort of relationship with any of those that I had.

Voted for GLaDOS but don't really think it was a great boss fight.

Given the choice of these, The End is an easy call. I discussed it in the last thread, but I just love how many ways there are to win and lose against him. Plus, he's just cool lookin'. And he can photosynthesize!

I'm just happy there are no Bowser fights.
Glados is the better antagonist but the Wheatley fight is far more satisfying and made me go "wow" when they thing happened. Very memorable. Glados boss fight wasn't that exciting to be honest

Oh man, I somehow forgot about the thing happening. Yeah, that's a pretty good set-piece. The interesting thing about many of these fights is that they're more relevant and impactful as scenes than they are as fights. GLaDOS is a good example of that. It's a good fight mechanically because you're using all of the skills and techniques you learned to do the thing, but it's also compelling as a scene because it takes place on her home turf where she's just been a disembodied voice throughout the game.
Super Metroid is a great example, too. As a fight, it's pretty big-standard
Metroid fare, but it's such a great scene, tied into the overall plot of the game, that it begins to stand out.
Mike Tyson's just hard, but other than that I didn't really find anything too interesting about it.
Lady Maria is probably the best pure "fight" in this list, but it does also have narrative implications if you have your mind in
Souls mode and are ready for look for them without just having everything explained.

It was a close finals, but the official "BEST BOSS FIGHT EVER!!!" is Wheatley from
Portal 2 (2011, Multiplatform). Spoiler.

I would definitely have nominated the Mantis Lords from Hollow Knight in this category if I had played the game in time.
