Man oh man, tough call here. Have to give my vote to Shovel Knight for being a great homage to NES and being it's own game at the same time.

Okay let's see if more people know about some of my favorite 2014's yet. It was a rather good year.

Tough choice not to give a vote to Binding of Issac by the way. Very addicting.

Considered giving my only vote to The Talos Principle, which is one of the best games I've played in recent memory, but I had so much fun beating Guacamelee! three or four times that I simply had to give it a vote as well. If it were possible, I'd give Talos my #1 vote and Guacamelee! my #2 vote.

Hmm... I wonder if a mod exists for that, to allow ranked voting.

Went for Bayonetta 2 since it was a game that really took what was good about the first and made it better. Shovel Knight would be a close second though.
