I haven't yet had a chance to play Monument Valley (currently available on Android and IOS), but I've seen people raving about it on social media quite a bit lately. It just came out in April & May of this year.
Has anyone here taken it for a spin yet? I'll probably load it up on Mrs. Kong's iPad and give it a try during my flight to Toronto later this summer.

Re: Monument Valley
Wow... I get the sense that those people don't understand what IAPs really are. This is an expansion pack that almost doubles the size of the original game. It's not like buying a few extra clicks at a cookie.

Re: Monument Valley
Downloaded Monument Valley today (including DLC). It is now part of the (Red) program with the 3rd/final chapter. Gave the original levels a try and first thought it was going to be a small game (first level was tiny), but other levels got bigger. Still don't think it'll take long to finish, but the graphics are very nice from what I've seen so far. It's probably like with Tengami, a short beautiful game.

Re: Monument Valley
Finished the game today, the last chapter was only one level with a couple of puzzles to solve. It was fun and interesting to play, bit easy with some parts slightly harder. Played most part without sound, but the parts I heard were 'relaxing' tunes. Allthough different in appearance, it feels the same as Tengami. As it isn't as slow paced as Tengami, it's more likely I replay it soon (see if I can get all levels done in a shorter time). There're no achievements or time records in the game, so no pressure to beat anything but the level itself.
I've set it to 'completed' on BL, but wonder what would qualify for 'mastered'...

Re: Monument Valley
As with any game to qualify for "mastered", you'd have to do some kind of limited/challenge run outside the bounds of what's expected of you by the game. I haven't played it yet so I don't really have any ideas of what could qualify.MerlinDrazziw wrote:I've set it to 'completed' on BL, but wonder what would qualify for 'mastered'...
