Barry snears at Edward's incompetence.

"I mean really, who can't open a damn cupboard?"

Barry cracks his knuckles and slides his sleeves back to his elbows, he stares at the handle with confidence and reaches to open it.

(Rolls a 4)

Barry gestures to Edward "those gloves don't give you enough friction, the trick is to use raw, non-fabricated man-hands"

Barry looks inside the cupboard.

Barry sees a cupboard door. He notices the handle came free, but didn't bring the door with it. There's a hole where the handle was.

Well boys, if there's a screwdriver or a combination or something anywhere in this room, it's gotta be in that hutch. Just need a way to bust 'er open.

Oleg glances around the room, sees the ornate lamp, shrugs, and rolls a 3 to hoist it off the table.

Glad he left this pretty sledgehammer in here with us!

Oleg grabs the lamp by the thinner section, getting the heft of the heavy base, then loads up his best grand slam stance and takes a mighty swing at the hutch door.

The lamp makes a loud pop when it crashes into the hutch, sending large, sharp chunks of ceramic flying in all directions - one of which lodges firmly into Oleg's forearm. Oleg -1 gum. Edward and Barry make an asskicking roll to dodge.

Unfortunately, the hutch is still firmly shut, the deceptively heavy door in tact. Fortunately, Oleg is left holding a sturdy brass piece of tubing, the diameter of which seems just right to fit in the hole Barry left.
