I can kinda give Squirtle over Charmander if we're looking at basic stage alown but Charazard is head over heals better than Blasty boy.

If anything I'm glad this means people were voting based on their starter forms, because I agree that Charizard is the best Gen 1 final starter evolution and Blastoise is the worst.
