I wish I could have given Jade Cocoon 2 six votes. Not singing DQXI, which I also voted for, but I just love that game. Was one of my all time favorite PS2 games. It’s simple and straightforward, but works so well.
I never thought I would feel this way, but now I know. Now I know. I never thought I would see things as I see them now, but now I know. I never thought I would hurt so bad, but now I know. Now I know.
I couldn't give DQ full points here because I have several problems with it, and besides, Orion is in here!

What issues do you have with DQ XI?
Mainly, the pep up system is dumb. I also find it to be a bit too fetch-questy, which I know is par for the course for Dragon Quest, and I enjoyed in older Dragons Quest, but I expected a bit more story/quest integration/immersion in this one. It's good, don't get me wrong! That's why I gave it two points. But if other DQs were in this bracket, depending on which one, I might have chosen them instead.

The pep up system has an incredible amount of options that I never use because I can't directly affect when my party peps up without buy items for it. So i just made use of the stat bonuses from it.
Side quests in general annoyed me a bit because of the unskippable jingle it plays when you acquire and complete a side quest lol. Also, I felt like side quests would have been more valuable if you gained exp for doing them.
