And so I've checked another Ghosts'n Goblins game off the list. This was possibly the best one I've played so far. It had unique bosses, interesting level composition (including one that takes advantage of the WonderSwan's vertical orientation option), and great enemy variety. Plus, it's a bit more forgiving than the rest of the series. A highlight for sure. Shame it's so hard to come by. Maybe Capcom will do an anthology one day and include this so more folks can play it.

I must say, I am a little mixed on this DLC. The DLC campaign is a standalone entry separate from any of the progress you made in the main game. On one hand, the missions themselves are great and pretty diverse with more challenge than the base game. But it when playing this DLC you have no supports to build, and you cannot level up weapon proficiency, professor level, or anything beyond your units actual level. It makes things a bit dull as there's not a lot of progress or customization. Story was alright, new music was great. Enjoyed my time with it, but I'm definitely mixed.

I just think... there just shouldn't be DLC in a Fire Emblem game.

Took a while but my first game I've finished this year. I enjoyed it so much. I really need to play more metroid games. Anyway, for a remake of a GameBoy game this game felt huge. Such a fantastic core game. I really hope we see some new 2d games on switch. (doubt it though)

I had finished about 80% of the story for Need for Speed so I didn't go crazy and beat it in half a day.

The game is average at best. Fun sure but nothing amazing. The user interface and the map was really bad which is one of the reasons I'll probably never pick it up again to Complete.

Beat the first Borderlands 3 DLC campaign in January. It was okay.

Beat Ys: Memories of Celceta earlier this month. Pretty generic and inoffensive overall, but it loses points for being plagued with bugs and glitches (the game froze six times and crashed twice). At least the music was good.

And, finally, I beat Phantom Brave: We Meet Again last night. I liked Disgaea and Disgaea 2 a lot, but this game just feels lazy and unfinished. Disappointing.

Not a great start to the year.

Beaten 2 more games.

Crash Bandicoot 3 was what I expected same as 1 and 2. Which is good. Some of the time trials have really put me off ever trying to 100% the game though.

LittleBigPlanet 3 only played Adventure mode (story) but it was really fun. I haven't played 2 yet but playing as different characters (assuming that's a new feature) is really cool and the story was funny enough to be interesting. Started slow though. One complaint though is the way they show collectibles is really annoying it's really hard to see what levels you still need to collect stuff from and which you don't. Also locking stuff behind 2 player without saying so on the level button is annoying too since I only have 1 controller.

Regardless I recommend both games really fun platformers.
