2024 Game Clear Thread

Feb 08. Golden Sun (GBA NSO)

Never played Golden Sun before so I thought I'd give it a go on NSO. Overall, enjoyable. Felt nostalgic and cozy to play despite never playing this specific jrpg. I liked the greater focus on puzzle solving in dungeons compared to other rpgs. The random battles and lack of auto battle did get to me a bit.

You can tell the game started as one big game and was split into two - the story kind of just ends with a cliffhanger and not much resolution. With that said I was ready for the game to end. Not sure if I'll get to the sequel, I'll take a break for now anyways.

Month late to the party here, but I liked our write ups of Famicom Detective Club! Honestly you're the first person I've heard of that played these games

Doesn't sound like they are for me, but these along with Another Code are neat little dives into Nintendo's history, and honestly I'm surprised to see them carry these forward.

Finished AW2 now which wraps up Re-boot Camp. Honestly I picked it up because it was 50% off, but did not expect to spend a whole month playing these games. Never played the originals, but I thought this was a wonderful package with a ton of content. I remember people being a bit disappointed in the package which I don't really get, beyond no online matchmaking, which personally I'm not into anyways.
